You can call in Mileage Plus and ask them to make the miles available right away. Either way you can put the flight on hold until tomorrow night.

i dont see any option of holding the flight..

just thinking, if i cancel and rebook it now then i lose the possibility of making any further changes if needed since they view it as a ticket to TLV booked right now?

LH 690/691 7/28-29 are cancelled also US 797 tonight is cancelled.

Im trying to cancel a UA paid reservation for next week but UA does not want to give back money only credit for a flight within next  year.
