Using credit card match from another person to apply for a credit card

I was wondering whether using the link from another persons card match with my social and information will affect the first person at all - their credit score, their ability to apply for the same offer themselves, the ability for them to apply for other offers from the same credit card company etc.

I was wondering whether using the link from another persons card match with my social and information will affect the first person at all - their credit score, their ability to apply for the same offer themselves, the ability for them to apply for other offers from the same credit card company etc.

I tried on an amex app it seems it's not possible  even I did get to change the name and info I got an error message .
if somebody knows  how to do it please pm(or post) thanks
