Flying Business or First to Australia
« on: July 24, 2014, 11:19:26 AM »
What are the best miles to rack up to prepare for a business or first class trip from N.Y. to Australia?  Will be traveling with 2 adults + infant.

Can someone could give me a little advice regarding which are the best airlines to use for this trip and which miles transfer there (as well as how many miles I'll be needing)?

AA by far has the most generous system the following are prices for One Way  62.5k for buisness and 72.5k for first. They put you on Qantas which is amazing service. However they have the hardest availability to find for buisness and first. If you fly economy its 37.5k and they have a lot of availability.

+1 . also even Alaaskan Air has basically NO availability on buisness. They put you on buisness for domestic part of the flight the main leg from LAX-SYD/MEL is economy.

True, but you can fly CX with great availability close in, although there is no F on HKG-MEL they allow mix cabins
