Amazing shuls of the world

On my recent trip to Rome i was struck by the magnificence and grandeur of the great synagogue ( Tempio Maggiore di Roma). I am quite well traveled and have been to many shuls but there was something about this one that made me say "wow".
I am sure I am not the only one here interested and amazed by the beauty that unfortunately seems to be a thing of the past. Feel free to share your picks of the greatest/most interesting that you have encountered. Obviously  pictures cant do justice -especially shaky iphone ones- but its a start.

The main shuls in Florence and Paris are also beautiful. Definitely worth a stop if you are in either of those cities.

The Shul in St. Martin has the sand floor which you don't see often. Pretty cool.

Both o Singapores shuls are amazing. Spanish Portuguese in Manhattan. Vienna's central shul.

There's a museum in Tel Aviv with small replicas of many shuls

My family is part of the small Minyan that runs davening at Eldridge on the Yamin Noraim. We've been there forever, back before the renovated and the minyan was in the Beis Medrash in the basement. On that note, if anyone is capable of being a Chazzan on Yom Kippur and would like the incredible opportunity to lead Davening in this Shul, let me know. Seriously. :)
