It seems that the newer Visa GC's are coded differently. I tried the MC workaround but it didn't work for me maybe I did something wrong but seems like a no go.
Don't know when they made this change but mine that didn't work have an expiration date of 1/2023, and are dated as being from 1/14. On the card above the metallic Eagle instead of "VALID USA IL..." it has some numbers then a symbol of a P or something.
Please correct me if I'm wrong about this.....

I just loaded one of these "new" visa GC's with the 1/23 expiration and that funny "P" symbol unto my Bb in Walmart Monticello with out a problem @ all... So I think we can trash this thread!

Was it a $200 gc from staples or the variable GC's from elsewhere
