Don't know current rates, but I am just back from Gibraltar and highly recommend local guide/driver Abby Suissa, www.abbytour.com , info@abbytour.com , for transportation and tours in and around the Gibraltar area. Recommended to us by the excellent Seville tour guide Moises Hassan, he drove us from Seville to Gibraltar, gave us a wonderful tour of Gibraltar, up to the Rock, etc., and after our weekend stay in Gib, he drove us to Granada.

His name is Rabbi Hassid
Post-trip: Thanks to Moish, we emailed Rabbi Hassid in advance and promptly received a warm invitation for Friday night seudah at his home, and he told us that he was setting us up in advance with an invitation for Shabbos lunch with another family, all of whom were wonderful and gracious hosts.

i hate writing tr , but as i always used ddf for all my trips i missed it this time for my trip ,
so will try to write some info here , feel free to dm me any questions

so i was going to london and looking for 1 day trip so figured will do gib

gib has only flights from the uk

so we flew from nyc-mad-svq on iberia miles and than took a uber to gib
(note : in gibraltar only there own taxi are allowed to operate )
so uber dropped us off by the border and we walked over and took gib taxi to the sunborn hotel
hotel was really nice and interesting , its a ducked cruise ship , had a nice balcony looking over the water and runway
main attraction is the rock , we took taxi to cable car to take us up the rock , saw the monkeys walking around there , and walked to st michael caves, (the direction could use some improvements ) , its a small nice caves with a light show , what was most impressive was the view by the apes den u walk up like 10 steps and seethe other side of the rock and the ocean for miles away ,A MUST SEE  , that was just incredible , didnt have time to do the tunnels , and didnt do the suspension bridge as dw doesnt like heights
other attraction that looks interesting is dolphin sightseeing tour, or beach , currency is uk pounds , we flew out from gib-lhr , very nice but small cute airport and impressive look over the rock

kosher food
deli express grocery
amar bakery / amar restaurant  its same owner but 2 different locations
Midtown Bagel Gibraltar
tamidi meat restaurant closed down

minyanim u have 3 times daily (there is liek 200 family's living there )

we ate supper by amar restaurant u can eat in or they deliver in the morning or the " Rock hero " app
food was good and very decently (cheap)priced
breakfast they delivered a nice served breakfast to hotel

How do I contact Rabbi Hassid about Shabbos meals?

What's the best way from Gibraltar to Malaga or Seville airport?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I know it sounds crazy, but you probably don't need to arrange Shabbos meals in advance. The community is super hospitable and will likely invite you over multiple times on Friday night. That said, you can contact the shul office.

I believe the best way to get to Malaga besides driving your own car is one of the car services in Gibraltar.

I believe that, but the planner in me doesn't like it. :D
Have the shul office contact?

Any recommended car services? Or do I just walk over the border and take a taxi or Uber?

Sadly, Snapfish has eaten the photos from your TR.

Happy to hear GIB is on your bucket list.
Went there with DW a few years ago and had a great time.
Flew into Malaga and rented a car. DW had a friend from there who got us hosted for Shabbos meals. There are multiple shuls with interesting history and architecture, and a very friendly community. The rock is beautiful and the dolphin boat tour was nice as well.

Landing in GIB at 10:50am. Candlelighting is 6pm.

What will we have time to do?
Where should we eat lunch?
Which shuls are not to miss?
