After finishing the tour (he charged me 60 gbp an hour name Carl Mesilio 01135057406000 you can check him up on trip advisor) he took us to the airport where we enjoyed the ba lounge with a terrace on to the runway with nice view's, stopped over in London and then had lunch in the ba lounge in t3 and took the AA flight back to NYC Sunday evening

^^If I had 4 days to spend, Wednesday - Shabbos, I would spend the latter two in GIB. What would you suggest for the first two days? I'd be flying from NY.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I'm getting more and more into Spain. :)

If I'm in GIB for Shabbos and want to leave Sunday and get to Madrid to catch my next flight to Italy, how do I best go GIB-MAD?

Probably take a flight from Malaga, which would be quickest. I'm not sure of the train/bus options.
Google Maps says it's a 1.5 hour drive from Malaga and like 4 hour bus ride. Is it possible to rent a car in GIB and return it in Malaga?

Don't know off hand. I'm sure you can ask a car rental agency that's located in GIB

Nice TR. Wasn't worth it to rent a car between all the trains/buses/driver that you took?
It would have been but no one felt comfort driving in a foreign country.

Also, we were 3 people with luggage so we needed a bigger car than is standard in Europe,  we don't drive stick and needed a 1 way rental,  all of which drove up the cost so we decided against it.

I know it's tempting to try to fit in as many places as possible when you have the chance but I did a similar trip several years back and it was exhausting.  There were many things that we did not get to see and I feel we sacrificed some of the experience just so we could check off more places on the list.
Then again, it's all personal preference.

In terms of places to stay in Seville, a great place where we stayed was Las Casas de la Juderia. It was right in the middle of the old town and we could walk anywhere.

We also stayed at the Elliott in GIB. Driving from GIB to AGP is a really beautiful drive and I think it actually took us less than an hour when we did it.
