I don't think it should have those 4. I also think it's WAY to complicated for a noob. I was overwhelmed when I first saw it. I would like to go through it sometime. I know I keep saying that, but first on my list is getting my TR out.

Don't want to go OT, but from my 1 use it looked confusing. I'm also so used to the regular format, I don't mind having to pinch/pull the screen as needed.

Wish there was a way, but yeah you have to RTM I guess.

Another general change - I think the 2 acronym threads should be merged. Why have 2? Just adds to the confusion.

I'll try to take (better) care of the "San Francisco" master thread, though I can't claim to be too knowledgeable in all areas there...
I never liked the name of that thread. I think "Northern California," or at least "San Francisco Bay Area" would make much more sense. (like how there's a "South Florida" thread, it's not called the "Miami" thread.)

I just want to add to my kudos to Dan and all you members! In a period of only two days DDF has been revamped and catapulted itself to a new, professional (and impressive) level IMHO.

I wouldn't call it an adoption, because there shouldn't really be a need for maintenance, but I did just update/create a wiki for Questions and Help for BEGINNERS!.

I would put in a vote that "for beginners" should be removed from the title of the thread. I think it's really become a thread where anyone goes to ask a random Q, even more veteran members.

The beginners is a crucial part, its supposed to be a thread where you can ask any question no matter how noobish, and not get flack from it

Having the "for beginners" in the title contributes to the feeling of safety that allows newcomers to post their questions without being afraid of being scolded for being n00bs.

Ah, that's a good point. I wasn't looking at it like that. I want to reword the wiki a bit to give people the confidence to ask Q's.
