I can use some as well. This is a hilarious thread.  :) CHiam, you sound so learned, where did you attend Yeshiva? Lakewood?

MT on your success this past year, but my hunch is that it gets harder as you move along. So hatlacha and don't let the bumps in the road, which are inevitable slow you down.
To the nOObs out there, feel free to PM with q's. #AlwaysTakesTheHighRoad #LovesHashTags

Love where this thread has gone! :)

Just all the cards stacked up against my laptop after my monthly ritual of charging $1 to each inactive card on Amazon Payments to keep growing our 760+ credit scores :)
how many cards did you have to start with?
2!! Until last year I prided myself in earning $1800/yr cash back. Now I regret even thinking about cash back as having value.
DDF back then could have meant today I'd estimate about 30 million points, aside from what was used. Now I have something to motivate me for 10 years from now :)

Why?

Why?

What it took to get that $1800 could have easily been $5k, points value...
That isn't even including all the sign-up bonuses I could have met.
I make sure every one of my nieces and nephews are started off, sometimes even before they're 18 :)
My kids will (BE"H) have more points in they're first year than I accumulated until I got on DDF!

With your methods, quite possibly. Just don't let cashback leave your mind. There are some very beneficial methods

You are right. I still use one method of cash back, my Amex Blue Cash Card. It gets 5 cents cash back in supermarkets with no yearly limit.
For 2 years I was getting calls from Amex reps trying to get me to 'upgrade' to a different card...

don't most here believe CB is overrated? if he could have had 30 million points without sign up bonuses how much would that have been in CB?

CB only is on actual spending. 30 million would include sign up bonuses, which weren't even a thought for me up until a year ago.
