TigerDirect has free after rebate items almost daily. I've amassed quite a collection this year without resorting to the Total Defense bundles; the rebates for those seem too tedious.

IIRC, you have to sign up for a paid service and then cancel within a certain amount of time if you want to avoid a recurring fee.

Also, most of the things you listed aren't FAR, just cheaper.
