Citi Discussion Group For $$

Did anyone else receive a phone call to participate in a discussion group. Its taking place on August 15 for an 1.5 hours and you get $400!!!

Not sure. I got a phone call and they told me that they got a list of people that have active citi cards and they are calling the people on the list and asking screening questions. (If your married you can bring your wife for an additional $400!!!)

It could be a focus group. A focus group company calls on behalf of another company (it's client) to ask you screening questions. If you qualify you go to an office and usually there are other people there and you have a round table discussion with a leader asking questions and getting you, the consumer's opinions. There is usually a 1 way mirror that the client can watch what is gong on. It can last 1-2 hours and they compensate you nicely for your time.

$400 sounds like a bit over the top, no?

it was a focus group... apparently I didn't pass the screening, since they never called me back...
