When I told kid #2 that we were going to soon be having a 'new baby', she said, "And we'll give back our old baby-(kid #3)?"

(no video phones 23 years ago. and update: kid #4- our new baby- b"H got married this past summer.)

I know what "sowing " means, I was trying to give an alternative melacha (sewing) that would be easier to do in the backyard

mother: Hashem is everywhere.
son: But I can't see Him.
mother: We can't see Hashem, He watches us from above. (or something to that effect)
