My 5yo daughter likes to have deep convos before bed. The other night-

daughter: When was Hashem born?
mother: He wasn't born, he was always there. It's hard to understand.
daughter: You know what else is hard to understand?
mother: What?
daughter: Like, how we were born.
mother: Ok, good night sheifala.

my mom works in a preschool and takes the bus home with them. One kid wanted her number, when she politely declines he said, ya it'll be fun we can stay up the whole night and shmooze...

I was lucky enough to overhear my daughter telling a teacher realistic sounding stuff about me that had been completely fabricated. I'm convinced her teachers think of me as some sort of psychopathic serial killer.

lol When parents would come to my wife and tell her "My kid said XYZ happened in class" she would tell them Let's make a deal, I won't believe everything your kid tells us about home and you don't believe everything he says about school..."

When my sister was 2 there was a particularly nice day outside so her morah said "kids, because it's so nice outside twist, instead of our mommies coming to pick us up we'll go pick up our mommies", my sister went over to her and said " but morah, I can't pick up my mommy, she's too heavy"
