We've done it a couple times. Once we went with some other families. The threat of a thunderstorm had the others opt for a cabin. We stayed in the tent, which remained dry throughout the storm. Don't forget the guy lines. First time we camped we didn't bother with them, and there was a lot of moisture inside the next morning, even though it did not rain at all.
