Virginia Beach has a wonderful ropes course and a massive go-kart place, and the boat tours of the naval yard in Norfolk are absolutely incredible (way cooler than it sounds).
+1. Ropes course was great.
All naval and air sights are much more interesting than colonial stuff IMO. Pretty cool to be driving down the highway and your car starts shaking from a couple fighter jets flying over.
Then there's all the water sports. Plus, Virginia Beach has nice Dave and Busters and other arcades places. Norfolk has a quasi amusement park by the water IIRC. Just in general, the area caters more to vacationers.
And the Jewish community actually exists over there, unlike Richmond.
The Four Points on the water used to be 4k SPG
was a great value. I think it's 17.5k now. And while you're there, get a glass of Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager during happy hour. You won't regret it.
Can a Mod rename this "Virginia Master Thread"?
