I think there's also a Coach USA bus from the park n' ride on rt. 59 by the thruway (exit. 14)

Depends on the time of day. During rush hour. I think the 729 train the transfer is only 1 min but at other times it can take a bit. Anyone here take the train from suffern everyday? Were do you park? Cost? Always get a seat both ways? I started to drive in 3 times a week because I cant stand the Monsey Tours bus.

Tappanzee express bus to Tarrytown then metro north? 
Or drive to Tarrytown then take train...

I would second the Google maps, however in this case it only has mass transit, not all the bus options...
There is another park and ride on the GSP in montvale. What bus picks up from there...
