to dive or not to dive

im in dahab right now (at the beautiful le meridian dahab, upgraded to a deluxe suite). with all thats been going on the last few days in sharm, im on the fence as to whether its a good idea to dive. what do you think?
(food for thought - according to some people, including the mayor of sharm, this whole episode was the work of the mossad. if thats indeed the case, would the israelis go after dahab as well?)

Perhaps I'm out of the loop, but what happened in sharm?

a shark attacked some swimmers last week of the coast. 3 people are in the hospital in Kairo( missing alot of body parts), 2 days later they claimed they caught the shark and everbody jumped in again. It turned out, it was the wrong one and a german tourist got killed the next day of the beach from the hyatt ( I think she was on a free night ) They are still searching for the right shark. Its known that Sharm has Sharks, but not from the "i like human flesh for lunch" ones. So one guy got lost.
I dont know if you would enjoy your dive, looking over your shoulders every 10 sec.

Enjoy Dahab, its really nice. If you cant go swimming, take a trip to Sharm or visit St. Katarina in the mountains....

im not sure i follow the logic. if i cant go swimming in dahab, why would i go to sharm?

Sharm is a nice city, has good markets... Its a little nicer then dahab, so if u r board, go to look at it
