I am not answering the question BC I am not sure. I just don't see why not. It could be explained as someone paying their landlord rent, no? If I'd guess, I'd think its no problem.

With some credit card processors, if you provide the cardholder's address when you request an authorization, you'll get an AVS response whether it matches the billing address. But if you don't provide an address, how would Amazon know what the cardholder's address is?

someone should set up an Amazon Register Conga (like with Google) for ppl nearby.
I swap my card by you (so not same billing address) then you go and swipe your card by my register. This way I don't have to actually transfer any monies and sort of fraud protected cause can always dispute if oneside doesn't keep to it, (obviously you should still only do it with someone trustworthy!)
