Usually when they shut you down they will withdraw all funds to your bank account before closure

I ordered this last year and still haven't used it. Is there a way to get the $10 back using my own credit card? Or the only way is by charging someone else's CC and I send them $10?

I was swiping on my office's Amazon Register (with my boss's permission) and they were giving me a check for the what I swiped (less the fee), and we got an email yesterday with the following:
Quote
We reviewed your Amazon Register account and found that you are making payments to this account with your own credit or debit card(s). This is prohibited by the Amazon Register User Agreement. As a result, we have blocked your Amazon Register account.

I only used my own cards, my name isn't part of the company.

They didnt shut down the account, its just blocked, but the money is still there. Anything I can do?
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I guess they couldn't take the loss from only charging 1.75%

Does this mean we'd lose the $10 if we haven't used Amazon Register yet?  Or we'd get refunded? Anyone know?

I bought the reader in 2014 - but never made a charge on it (I was a big user of Square) - would I still get the $10 for the first charge?

thanks
