If reading these types of articles make her sad or uncomfortable then dont read it. Its not even aimed at singles themselves but rather at our society in general & to address changes that should be made in it.

Secondly, the comparison to the secular view of a 25 year old single girl is very irrelevant & mistaken. Of course 25 is young in the grand scheme of things but when your major goal is to build a family there's a clock ticking.

True, but it's not fair to an accomplished adult to make them feel like they have no standing because of that. Their whole identity becomes a 'nebich' one, instead of a successful ____ who would love to find a shidduch.

That's not a fair statement. She had every right to read the article, and if it was just one article that upset her, she wouldn't have written that response. This was clearly a build-up from people constantly treating her as a nebuch just because she's an older single. The SYR article was simply the final nail.

True but she seemed to be implying that the article shouldnt have been written so as not to hurt her feelings. But the article was not meant for her at all & she reads it at her own risk.
Trying to find solutions means acknowledging the existence of a problem. Some people may be hurt by that but it still has to be done.

I've decided to be dan l'kaf zchus that he used his access to persuade them but that Lakewood does not have a "price."  I'll know for sure if my yeshiva makes a move, since them I know do not have a price.

Bmg has been under tremendous pressure for years because of the freezer. They always said they don't force anyone to come so they're not responsible.

Going to BMG at the latest age of 23 means they'll start dating at 23 and 3 months the latest. Anyone turning 23 in the 6 months before the zeman starts will have to start even earlier forcing that group to a latest of 22.5-23 yrs.

Access meaning "talk to me because I'm rich" and then he actually convinces them in substance.
As opposed to "I'll give you a million bucks to change your policy."
