Now I'm really set. After HUCAing a few times (4 to be exact) to AA asking them to change us to a nonstop flight to LAX due to an illegal connection due to EYs flight schedule change, I finally have:

CPT-DOH QR J (B787)
DOH-AUH QR F (A320)
AUH-JFK EY F (A380)
JFK-LAX AA F (A321T)

Red is outbound, Blue is return

AA was kind enough to open up space for us. Now I'm that's an impressive itinerary IMO! Yay!!!
Looks nice! How long is your layover in JFK? If you want to go out to eat/visit attractions, you could probably arrange a chauffeur for one way with EY.

Awesome, what's the full itin and how long are you in each place?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Not long, about 3 hours. I really wanted to take an earlier flight, but after the EY schedule change it would only be 1.5 hours (before the change it would have been 2 hours) and you need 2 hours minimum.

All I have are those flights so far. It's for the summer, so I still have to plan what we're going to do and how long we're going to be in each place. What I know so far:

landing in JNB Thu night, spend shabbos in JNB.
Sun-Wed unknown
Wed-Sun CPT

In terms of the flights themselves:

landing in DXB at 7:35p Wed, leaving to JNB at 2:40p Thu

landing in DOH at 11:50p Sun, leaving to AUH at 8:25a Mon (overnight in the Al Safwa nap rooms)
landing in AUH at 10:30a Mon, leaving to JFK at 3:20a Tue
landing in JFK at 9:35a Tue, leaving to LAX at 12:30p Tue

Awesome change!

How did you get AA to open award space? How many HUCA's?

I know. I'm super excited.
Well that didn't last long. EY blocked the connection in JFK for ticketing claiming 2 hours were needed and I only had 1.5 hours.  Now we have:

CPT-DOH QR J (B787)
DOH-AUH QR F (A320)
AUH-JFK EY F (A380)
LGA-BOS AA F (E190)
BOS-LAX AA F (B738)
Now I'm really set. After HUCAing a few times (4 to be exact) to AA asking them to change us to a nonstop flight to LAX due to an illegal connection due to EYs flight schedule change, I finally have:

CPT-DOH QR J (B787)
DOH-AUH QR F (A320)
AUH-JFK EY F (A380)
JFK-LAX AA F (A321T)

Red is outbound, Blue is return

AA was kind enough to open up space for us. Now I'm that's an impressive itinerary IMO! Yay!!!

Looking for some input here:
(WARNING: long post)
Planning on EY from AUH to JFK in F through AA.
Trying to plan out how to get from TLV to AUH in the best way. Priority is a quick visit to an extra destination and best service/lounge access etc. Already been through AUH (airport) so don't really need to spend time there in lounge etc (yes I know it is being redone...), but can visit city.
Will have about 24 hours to spare from AMM to departure time at AUH. Or 36 hours from TLV to AUH.
RJ TLV-AMM is not available with AA/BA miles. Will need to either do cash or go overland (separate discussion).
Options are:
1)
AMM-AUH on EY or RJ (included in AA award)
PROS: Free
CONS: Not adding any extra destination/lounge

2)
AMM-DOH on QR "F" (AA)
DOH-AUH on QR "F" (AA)
PROS: Free (part of same award), Al Safwa
CONS: schedule doesn't allow for much time in DOH, maybe 7 hours between flights, then get to AUH with plenty of time before flight, but at night

3)
AMM-DXB on RJ with BA 10k/20k + fees
DXB-AUH with EY chauffeur
PROS: Explore DXB, EY chauffeur
CONS: Extra BA + fees, no Al Safwa

4)
AMM-DOH on QR or RJ with 10k/20k/30k BA + fees
DOH-DXB on QR with 18k BA +fees
DXB-AUH with EY chauffeur
PROS: Al Safwa and DXB
CONS: Most expensive, little time in each place

5)
Just pay cash for a flight from TLV-AUH through IST or LCA or ATH
PROS:  see another place on stopover?
CONS: more $, no extra destination, Yx2, long trip

6)
Just pay cash for a flight from TLV-DXB through IST or LCA or ATH
PROS: Explore DXB a bit, EY chauffeur
CONS: more $, Yx2, long trip

I don't expect to be able to do this again soon, so want to maximize the trip.

Are you traveling alone? I would chose option 2 if you don't really want to see AUH. I wouldn't pay more just to get an EY chauffeur.

There's actually one more option:
7)
AMM-MCT on Oman Air with 9k EY Guest miles + fees
MCT-AUH on BA 777 F (AA, included in award) (this is a tag-on flight so it's real BA F)
PROS: Try BA F (albeit 1 hour flight), explore MCT
CONS: extra EY redemption, only flight on Oman Air is 2:30am-7:00am

Assuming she doesn't care, I still like Option 2. Option 7 (BA F) is something you can fly another time. Plus that may make getting to AMM more difficult, especially with the convenient land borders (Allenby Bridge) closed at night.

FRA-EWR LH F
MUC-JFK LH F

Seems that FRA-JFK for next week just ain't opening up currently (even though the entire cabin is still open)  and I'm trying to put together Plan B.
I live a 15 min drive from JFK and would very much prefer landing there but am willing to settle for a -close to- 2 hour commute if the consensus is that FCT is that much better and worth the commute from EWR.

Well that didn't last long. EY blocked the connection in JFK for ticketing claiming 2 hours were needed and I only had 1.5 hours.

Not true. With preclearance in AUH, the MCT should not be 2 hours.

I just assumed you did it intentionally so you could try out the EY chauffeur service, though note there is officially "no transfers between respective airport terminals."

No EY chauffeur on layovers, which this would be.

Now I'm really set. After HUCAing a few times (4 to be exact) to AA asking them to change us to a nonstop flight to LAX due to an illegal connection due to EYs flight schedule change

What was the schedule change?
