You can bring a guest to FCT if they are continuing on same flight as you and you are eligible

Changed to:

JFK-TPE-BKK-CNX BR+TG J
CNX-HKT WE Y $
HKT-BKK-SGN-IST-TLV TG+TK J
TLV-ZRH-JFK LX J

A) Added a day/night in HKT, B) added 1 short segment en-route to TLV instead of 9.5h in ADD, C) switched flights home from TK to LX.
5 nights CNX
1 night HKT
11 nights TLV

Why the three stops on the way to TLV?  You want to fly longer or couldn't find better routing?

DW had the same question lol

Original itinerary for that segment was CNX-BKK-ADD-TLV with a 9.5 hour layover in ADD (short flight > long overnight flight > medium evening flight). Total travel time 28h 45m.

Switched to a day later (with an open jaw from CNX-HKT) and taking an extra 1 hour flight instead of the long layover (short flight > short flight > long overnight flight > short flight). Total travel time now 24h.
Also, we now arrive in TLV in the morning instead of late evening.

If anything better / more direct opens, I'll change it again. AC change fee is 100 CAD = $75 USD per passenger.

EWR-FRA-ADD-JRO all in J.
Not the best routing choice (I was really hoping for Qatar availability) but beggars can't be choosers 3 weeks before.
Now I gotta do something about this return...

I'm actually not hiking Kilimanjaro. Going to the Serengeti where the herds have migrated.
Not a group, private.

Definitely a group tour. I think overall going on a safari to SA rather than east africa can potentially make it cheaper as well.

But you don't get the wildebeast migration which is a tremendous draw.

Kruger you can self drive so that makes it much more affordable. With SNP must be 4-wheel drive with guide.

Oh absolutely. That and gorilla trekking in Rwanda is why I opted for east africa over SA. I just think overall SA tends to be more affordable.
