How did you do that?  AS doesn't let me route that way. They only let AKL-NAN-LAX but not CHC



It wont even let me choose calendar with that routing.

Also AS upon booking states that "A $12.50 USD nonrefundable fee per person, each way, will be collected for awards booked on a partner airline."

Nice! How long stopover in NAN?

Back before COVID, I had JFK-LAX-NAN-stop-WLG ticketed for just 40K AS, as AS had a sale on Fiji awards. Unfortunately had to be cancelled due to COVID.

70,000 AC Miles = 4.59 CPM.

Too bad they don't fly their 787 from JFK. They fly it from IAD, but those schedules did not work.
