So you called in with the intention to get a different price over the phone then online? Does it happen occasionally?

I called with the intention of switching my flight booked with 88k UA to a different date because it was booked on March 3rd, and there was a stopover when it should have been direct. They offered to move it to any day within the next 7 days of the original booked flight. I was looking for a flight a few months out, so they weren't able to change it for the same price.

Would have taken more if Lifemiles would respond sooner to booking request not showing online as a complete itinerary. Extra "discount" for Amex and Citi transfer bonuses sweetened the pill of dealing with LM.

According to Vietnam law it is a religious option

MS doesn't either have a KSML option, but apparently could be reserved by emailing the right contact.

My parents flew SGN - CDG J on VN about 3 months ago. They reached out to VN and were told kosher is not an option. But maybe there is a workaround they were not aware of.
