Just got rebooked on LY direct for the same day!

nice, and they let you switch to FLL without issue? They switched me to a non stop as well, but wouldn’t allow the FLL since original VS booking was to MIA

El Al FLL-TLV 45K Qantas + $30 to get back from a wedding.  Points were transferred in during a 15-20% bonus a while back.  Needed this exact day last week of December.  Searched and searched and searched for the past week, and amazingly it opened a few hours ago.

Previous itinerary was: FLL-TPA cheap cash ticket to TPA-LGW BA Premium 67500 + $200 then transfer to LTN for Israir paid ticket to TLV ($300).  Fortunately everything is still refundable except the FLL-TPA.

I wouldn't say without issue. The whole call took about 2 hours and every detail was a fight but it all worked BH!

That should be fun.  I have ATH-EWR booked for 30K in econ, hoping to snag a business seat via points upgrade at the airport if nothing opens up before.

Also have LOT business booked TLV-WAW-JFK, but I am doubtful that won't get canceled.

in EK MXP lounge now (with kosher meals - arranged in advance)
very nice considering they only fly to two destinations from here and boarding plane is straight from lounge

I have an option to fly out of MXP or FRA. What's the better choice EK in J Airbus, or SQ in J Boeing ( SQ F is on wait list if that makes a difference). Points difference not major looking for the better experience. Your thoughts please?
