Am i crazy for not wanting to only take SQ R JFK<>FRA. I feel like if that was all the SQ R i was going to have for the trip, it would not be enough.

NIMO. That's why I'm booked on SQ11 R LAX-NRT-SIN. It's a lot more time in the air, albeit a horrible schedule.

In JFK you get the virgin Atlantic clubhouse what do you get in LAX?

I had 3 tix in J for YYZ-SFO and had tried to do plan B for SFO-OGG but after a few tries, I couldn't get them to do it correctly and gave up. Checked randomly today and 2 seat were open in J. Quick call to the call back line and confirmed in J for 2 seats SFO-OGG. Will have to decide who sits in which class for which flight...
All legs are recliners right? How did you decide it was worth the extra miles?
YYZ-SFO is actually lie flat trans-continental seats.

Trying to upgrade my last two tickets. The SFO-OGG seats are available but not YYZ-SFO. They are still selling seven seats for the flight - what are the odds that a seat opens up?
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Yup. That's why I had to add on a leg FRA-JNB.

Two of the best crews I've had in F to date.

See DSM IV.

That was my original plan, but it worked out better for my to take LAX-NRT-SIN in SQ R and then HKG-HND in CX F and NRT-LAX in JL F.

Hopefully one of my next few trips.

Highly recommended. CPT and AKL compete for the prettiest places on earth.

Combine the beauty of CPT, the kosher restaurants, with Kruger and Victoria Falls just hours away, and it might just be the best trip one can do on points.

I am still waiting for you to go to GIG/IGU/MAO (Pretty much all of Brazil). Combine it's beauty, its huge amount of activities, Iguassu Falls and Amazon Rainforest jungle just hours away, and will wait to hear how you compare it.

I've heard that it's similarly beautiful. But since JJ removed F, I'd have to fly a crappy US carrier :P

Maybe, but there are places worth suffering to get to. Also KE has F from LAX-GRU. albeit on an A330.
