Seems like a waste of miles for some of it (i.e. not continuing to BKK on the AS award), but we want to see DOH.

Why not add DXB-DOH onto the 90k AS award?

You can stop in DXB for as long as you want, so just book a seperate ticket DXB-DOH-DXB and then continue on with your AS award.

We thought about that, but we'd be spending 4.5 Avios + 17.5k Avios to get to try Al Safwa plus an additional 10k AS.  This still gives us the ability to try Al Safwa, plus try the QR A380, and saves us a little time.

** the Singapore agent put it on hold, it shows up on my upcoming reservations. But she warned me that it can be taken back by LH without warning.
I should just book as cancellation is only 30.00, but the charge of 552.00 for fuel Charges held me back for now.
