Last time AJK and I flew to Tokyo for a DO, @Hershelsdeals bailed on us.

Probably the best current redemption out there.
What was the tax?
Did availability match UA.com?

I’m not being snarky, and sorry if I’m missing something obvious but isn’t CX to Asia with Alaska points a better redemption? Also I looked up O class and that’s economy but I know you and AJK would rather stay at home without electricity or heat than fly in economy so I figured I must be totally confused here!  :D

It's 120k VS (which is 93k MR when the transfer bonus is around) for RT in first class on ANA. That's arguably the best mileage redemption possible now.

And only 110K VS (87K MR when the bonus is around) from the west coast which is what we booked out of LAX. Fees were also about $80 a person and availability matched the UA website.

LYR-OSL-VIE-CDG

Changed online to LYR-OSL-BRU-PRG. Got a ticketing error and was told to call in. Couple of agents claimed that BRU-PRG was phantom and so I had them put me on LYR-OSL-BRU-VIE-PRG.

Now this is what my itinerary looks like - this should be fun getting it sorted out.

Or maybe I should just learn to apparate.

If you think that just because Dan has something booked, he's actually going to go, your are very much mistaken.
