But it's an award ticket and on the way to tlv I paid 160 on an award booking

What class of cabin and what airline?

It all varies, there is not set charge style. If UA charges 10% for the infant then you are stuck with 10% of the total fare

Did you fly here in economy or biz?
Was it direct or w/ a stopover?
What airline was it?

CCMIIW but I think when booking a OW you pay 10%for of a OW fare which is usually very expensive.

Trying to find a creative way to fly home TLV-ORD this upcoming Sunday. I need to be home by Monday 4pm..

Looking to use UA miles in Y of J, but hopefully Y. Maximum of 5 stops. I am looking to go via random airports in Europe so I can add to my list.

Best creative itinerary wins. As of now I have TLV-IST-BRU-ORD.. Let the fun start.
TLV-ADD (full day stop) -FCO-IAD-ORD

For flying EK with JAL...

Which is the right chart?

Everyone seems to point to:

http://www.jal.co.jp/en/jalmile/use/partner_air/p_jmb/jmb_mile_ar.html

But, this certainly looks like it could be it...

https://www.jal.co.jp/en/jalmile/use/partner_air/p_ek/ek_mile.html

What am I missing?

ETA: Disregard! The second chart is apparent;y the old one, and the first one is the one in current use.

Thoughts on possibly changing NRT-ICN-JFK to NRT/HND-Middle East-JFK?

First flights i would be in KE F, which i have already flown. Second option would potentially be EY and EK F.

You should do ICN/NRT-AUH-ICN/NRT in EY F...

(45K for 11 hours in EY F, a bargain!)

Or, in your case, 90K for 22 hours vs. 90K for 13.5...

That is the potential issue with DW.

KE F back to NY is only 80K and 10% for infant, which may be the kicker.

You going with an infant? If yes, it's going to be very expensive for EY F, 10% of full fare.

What i figured. Thought it would be nice to dream about getting on EY sooner than originally anticipated.

I guess it will wait until i can leave my kid for a little bit.

LH F was a stretch this summer, waiting to see what i get hit with for the JFK-LAX-SFO-HND F on AA and JAL for an infant. I may have to leave my kid sooner, or just MS a bit more to pay for it.

LH F is pretty easy, since M&M only charges $17.2 for an infant.

JFK-LAX-SFO-HND F on AA and JAL, you can book one with AA and one with BA to add the inant, still a little expensive but doable.

OT - I'm looking to go to Israel with BA on BA metal with a CP. Comes out to 99k and around $1000 for 2 pax and infant in F OW.
