SPG Account - To merge or not to merge?
« on: December 14, 2012, 01:14:29 AM »
I just closed my Canadian Amex Starwood card, and will no longer have points coming into that SPG account. Should I merge it with my American SPG account? Is there any advantage in having 2 accounts? Will it make me elligible x2 for certain promos?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

ime, you should merge. its against the t+c's to have 2 accounts open. my wife had exactly your situation, one canadian and one american, and out of the blue they froze her accounts

How do you merge before they realize you're the same person on both accounts?
