Thanks! I had a $15 Tiger direct GC, so it was free. (But in truth Mail in rebates are 50/50 chance you ever get them).

From the terms:
"Click on “Auto-Renewal Settings”. Click on “Turn On” to enable Auto-Renewal for this product – valid credit card required. You may cancel your subscription any time after the 10th month of your 1 year
subscription term. McAfee will verify that the product has been activated and Auto Renewal enabled prior to rebate redemption."

I hope there's no charge. I hate MIR!

The MIR doesn't seem to have anything to do with this device. It's a rebate for paying for 10 months of McAfee.

Why can't you just give a VG card as the cc number and won't get charged at the end?

Got it!
So far every TD MIR I submitted it was processed and I received my $$.

With this deal when activating McAfee I would use a virtual account number. It's unlikely that once you get your $60 rebate that they'll charge your card for cancelling.

Where is the $15 Amex savings from? Is there currently an offer that I'm unaware of?

I think it's targeted.

I just got mine. The McAfee that you buy with this bundle includes a 1 year subscription. Your Auto-Renewal is just the potential for you to be charged for renewal when the one year subscription expires, not that you need to pay every month during the first year. If you cancel your subscription any time after the 10th month of your 1 year subscription term, there should not be any further charge. They are probably counting on you to forget to cancel Auto-Renewal. This is how I understand it; CMIIW.

I once had a McAfee product set to Auto-Renew. When my credit card was charged, I realized my oversight and they did cancel my subscription and refund me when I requested.

The tablet does not have any mention of Bluetooth or GPS in the specifications. I have not used it yet, but feel free to ask about it and I may be able to answer once I use it.

Received mine too.
What's stopping me from cancelling the cc after I get the Mcafee rebate?
