Went to Sushi Metzuyan last night for a birthday, here's what I got:

Dim Sum Dumpling Sampler (9) - left much to be desired, honestly wasn't quite sure what I was eating but the dipping sauce was a good spicy flavor that almost saved it.

Steak Polynesia (33) - Marbled steak cooked very well, asked for medium well and they nailed it.  Steak was very flavorful, and the price is very well worth it compared to the more expensive places I've been.

Molten Chocolate Cake (12) - solid, came with a ton of Ice cream, but more enjoyable was the presentation when told that it was for a birthday.  They brought out a legit gong and hit it pretty hard, definitely got everyone's attention.

All in all, a nice place to go with great ambience and not such a hard hit to the wallet as well.

It wasn't too bad, I made a reservation for 6 for 7:30 earlier in the afternoon so we had no problem, but there was a short wait during rush hour, mainly due to a holiday party that took up 6 tables.

I'd say soy sauce over Annie's kitchen. Dinner combo platter is a good deal.
