and eerily empty, but maybe summer Monday nights are different. Great family style tasty apps and entrees. A knowledgeable and friendly wait staff really round out the unpretentious experience.

I noticed that there are a ton of restaurants missing from this thread.  I would like to talk about green olive being that it's the 9 days.
I have gotten food from green olive three times.  This place is a specialty pizza place.  Their special is their potato pizza.  Last night I went there and got their soy buffalo chicken pizza which was also really good.
This place is located in New Hyde Park, so it's not near the main jewish neighborhoods of queens, so if you like going to places that are off the beaten path, then go here.  It's right by LIJ.  Even non jews go here.  After my wife gave birth, her non jewish doctor was talking about how amazing it is.
This place is a must go, especially for the 9 days.

Ordadeks cafe- amazing coffee.

You gotta specify if you need C"Y, and many items on the menu look delicious but aren't C"Y.

They're trying to go for that Starbucks loungey feel but the couches are looking a bit dingy.

Prices aren't so terrible, more than the average pizza store due to it being specialty pizza.

I got pizza 2 or 3 times there when my youngest was born in April. Lots of interesting pizzas there, but I'm a boring eater, so I only had regular pizza - though that was really good too.
