No tablecloths in hapisgah 😀
I was asking for a friend and for some reason the tablecloths was her request although I did mention hapisgah and I think that's where they'll end up.

That's definitely the best option if they want meat and it probably is pretty quiet lunch time. Dinner time they are always very full.

Anyways, until they merge, to answer your question. If we are talking all of Queens there are other options for fancy restaurants, nothing like youll find in the city but nice enough. You have Kolbeh in Great Neck, one of my favorites. La'Bella in Kew GArdens Hills has a nice sit down.

Thats not what I meant, the 20 mins was not an explanation to why its only a technicality, it was in response to your second point.

there is no better option in my opinion than hapisgah...la bella is very good but similar food can be found elsewhere as well...Hapisgah is by far my favorite restaurant, yes I love the fancy steakhouses in the city, and mike's is awesome but, this is more my style food, not too expensive, always amazing-never leave disappointed

Sushi metsuyan - no tablecloths but good food. Nice fish tank. Other foods besides sushi as I'm not a sushi eater.
