Went to Meatos last night, had a reservation for 6 people at 7 o'clock. Probably could've gotten a table without a reservation, but reservations are recommended, especially on a Sunday night.
The interior of the restaurant is almost exactly the same as the previous tenant, Chateu Steakhouse. It is very spacious and spread out with a private party room as well. There is definitely room to add more tables if needed. It was pretty noisy inside, but we had a corner table and the noise was not a factor. They do not yet have their liquor license, but will let you bring your own bottle of wine without charging a corkage fee. The mashgiach was checking all bottles before they are open.
We started with a few appeteizers:

Mushroom Tapas ($12) - small sized mushrooms fried nicely with some kind of aiolo. It was exactly what it sounds like and was a decent sized portion with about 20 mushrooms.
Red Tuna Tartare ($15) - I didn't personally taste this, but my brother liked it alot. Seemed to be a tuna/avocado mixture.
Asian Chicken Salad ($15) - Was a very nice sized portion and could probably even be a main for someone who just wants salad. The chicken pieces were juicy and tender, but I didn't like the rest of the salad made up of carrots, beets, zuchini and peanuts. The taste of celantro overpowered the rest of the salad.

Mains:
Chicken Burger ($21) and Entrecote Burger ($23) - The burgers are very large. They were ordered medium and came out very juicy and delicious. The chicken burger was light and slightly spicy. Burgers are served with side of fried.
Kids meal Chicken Fingers and Fries ($16) - Came with 4 nice sized pieces of chicken (bigger than fingers) which were fried nicely, although I would've liked them a little more crispy. Just my preference.
Angus Sirloin ($34) - Lean piece of meat, was ordered medium-rare and came out raw, so sent it back. Came back not raw, but would call it rare, not medium-rare. Was a very good steak with a good meaty flavor. Steaks are served with a small green salad and choice of side dish (fries, bake potato, sauteed vegetables, rice)
Rib Steak ($36) - If you like a nice juicy steak with some fat this is the steak for you. Was ordered medium and cooked perfectly. Slightly salted, which I liked, and was very tender and juicy.

Desserts:
Until dessert we were all loving this restaurant. And then out came the dessert.
Hot chocolate cake ($11) - Almost unedible. Was not moist at all and was almost like there was too much chocolate pudding in it. Was very rubbery. Came with a pool of chocolate sauce on top and a puddle of melted vanilla ice cream on the side. Very disappointing.
Apple Crumble ($11) - Just as bad as the chocolate cake. Was tasteless and the little taste that there was tasted burnt.

All in all it was a very nice experience and would definitely go back, but would not order dessert. It has the quality of a Manhattan steakhouse, but also has the Manhattan prices. Until now it seems Hapisgah was the only option for a nice restaurant in Queens, but Meatos has definitely taken over the top spot. For those living in Queens it's a lot easier than going into the City and I would highly recommend Meatos for a nice night out.

I have some pictures of the food. Please let me know if anyone is interested and I will post them.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

What's the best way to upload them without doing one picture per post due to size and only max 4 per post?

There is also a public sukkah on jewel and 141st street by that is run by Marvin Gruza.  I've used that a couple of times for take out.

There's a sign in the former Burger Professor window saying new restuarant opening there is called Hibachi Express
