Just got an email from AmEx that I can use my MR points for charges and save 30%. Good through June 30th.

Ok so i applied for amex biz platinum through a 100k offer via mail. i didn't receive my card after 2 days as promised.....then i got an email saying your request for a replacement card was fulfilled and will be sent out shortly blah blah blah......so i right away called the number in the email under "if you did not request this change......pls call" so i called and said "hey i never received my card.....how the hell can i request a new one?

?!!!!!!they said there was a glitch in the system for anyone that applied this past week after monday or tuesday and also the fact they ran out of plastic for the platinum cards......so i had them transfer me over to platinum and i said i need my card!!!! i am flying soon and wont have my card b4 monday and i want the lounges perks etc.....the representative credit me $200 as compensation and said once i activate my card it will show!!!!! lol i am gonna get my card 2 days late on july 1st!!!!!! like it really affects me!!!! then she goes on to say how she hopes i can win back amex trust

I had the same issue with card replacement glitch. However, my card showed the next day and i will not be getting $200.

I am about to close my Amex Plat business card and got a targeted offer in the mail for 100k. Can one have two business cards at the same time(with sign-up bonus) under different company names and same social?

Amex has cut down on the churning within 12 months so just wanted to make sure even though its a different business name its under the same social.

Hello. I had applied for AMEX platinum. I have met spending requirements and needed those points before statement close, to get reward ticket available thru Avios. I called and requested AMEX to advance them to me before statement closes, as I have met spend requirments. however they denied to do it. any recent experiences around it? Is there another way to request for it? HUCA? or drop the idea and wait for it to show up at regular time?

huca and send sm as well.

u can borrow against ur points, if i may recall. but i think that mightve stopped recently.

They just stopped points advances at the end of June

Amex does the bonus by SSN, not business name. You will not get the bonus if it hasn't been 12 months since your last one.

I think that you need to pay the balance before, and then ask to get the points.

Depends on the card but the max was 60k IIRC.

SM and Calls has not yield any result for me to get my promostional points after spent limit is met. I have paid my balance as well yesterday, which should post today. do you think, if I try after paying the balance it may work? Will they advance me 100K promotional points?

AMEX points: I'm trying to transfer to someone elses Delta account and I see a new rule that I cant transfer to someone elses account.
I tried searching the forum for where this was discussed and what I can do and I can't find a link.
Can anyone tell me where to look? Is there any way to transfer the AMEX points to others airlines accounts?

I am looking to apply for the Amex Plat consumer card or biz card. I can only seem to find links for 25k signup bonus for each card. I do not have any direct target offer for 100K. Is there a better offer than 25k or am I stuck with what is outhere now?
