Sorry disregard what I said they have a Platinum level Visa Signature Card not Amex Plat. I apologize for the confusion.

I have not had any personal experience with it but I know a broker who works at Ameriprise that can answer your questions and help with it.

It has the $200 airline fee credit, but no signup bonus.
Annual fee is waived for the first year.
You don't need an Ameriprise account to get approved, (unofficially).

Have too many pulls overall, and after last really tough

But waiving the annual fee, lounge access, and $200 might be a good tradeoff instead of the 25K signup bonus, No?

No access in UA lounges with Amex.

No UA Lounges on Amex. I also do not know if they will let you in if the card is not in your name. I asked that question to a rep recently and they told me No. But that might be different when your actually at the lounge in person.

my wife got offer for amex platinum 100k signup bonus. It came under her maiden name while she has an amex gold that she got 50k bonus (in begining of June) under her married name. Do you think she will still get the 100k?

AFAIK the amex gold and platinum are different bonuses so there is no reason she should not be able to get the 100k

I don't believe this is true. IF one is a business card and the other is personal, you can get both bonuses.

So MR bonuses are limited to one per year per biz account and one per year per personal account?
