have 2 100K biz offers unspoken for. 10K spend. I have some repeat 'customers' who've asked, but I'd rather spread the wealth. FCFS

Upgraded my gold to platinum. Until I recieve the card will spend on my gold card count? Will I get airline fee reimbursed if I spend it using my gold card now? Thanks

Once upgraded, the gold is just like the platinum card, just a different color.

You can do everything immediately. If it wasn't platinum it would not let you even register for an airline.

Thanks. once I meet spend and get airline credit for 14/15 I plan on downgrading to a free card. Will I lose my points that way?

Just 2bm for Amex everyday and platinum gold and got approved. Can I call and change it to platinum business (to try and get the 100K) or can't go from personal to business?

You can't downgrade Platinum to free card as
1.you can only downgrade a charge to a charge card
2.there are no fee free charge cards. The lowest is green which is 95 I think
You can however convert a delta or SPG as those are credit cards

If your either have it some fir an everyday card  or blue from American express (not blue cash) then you will keep your points. You won't be able to transfer to airlines until you go gold or higher.

Regardless of whether you have good or Platinum you can't convert one app to another. You can however try to apply for the business platinum separately as a third bm. There's still time

If I had all the benefits for Biz Plat set up (PriorityPass, Car Rental Status, etc) and then I get a Pers Plat and close down the Biz Plat, do all my benefits stay active or do I need to re-register them with the new Plat?

 can't transfer points from amex everyday card to airline points no need for gold or higher?

Can I use someone else's offer for a personal Amex plat 100k offer? Also if the only other Amex I have is SPG do I need do get another Amex in a 2bm so I can keep points when I cancel plat?

IINM you cannot use someone else's personal offer (business you could).
SPG won't keep your MR, so you would need another card (or you can downgrade the plat).
