Officially it does not have a limit, but I've heard that if your spend too much they may call it. Though they are really good to Platinum cardholders

It starts from the day you speed having the card so gold starts when you upgraded and platinum when you downgraded.  You can call to ask.

I applied for the amex gold card on 11/25 for a 75k offer the offer expired on 11/29 and I got approved for this card on 12/16 will I still get the 75k offer or I missed it ?

How risky is it to close the Plat within 60 days to get the AF refunded but while the bonus points are still pending?

After you pay the bill, have them push the points through for you, and you'll have no issues.

Not sure if anyone else has this issue: I did my annual 3bm with amex and for the 2nd time they would auto deny the 2nd & 3rd app requiring additional pulls after card 1 got approved. Additionally, the only ppl to talk to are the new accounts team in India which bearley speak or understand English & r incompetent & unhelpful. Last time as well as this round. They would change the story of wether the card was being approved & as well the reasons why. They also gave a list of reasons for declining Spg app even though gold got approved. They gave reasons like not long enough history with amex- even though been member since 2007..

Think in the past I have seen posted that au on plat card gets the 200$ airline credit & global entry fee refunded- is that true ?

if the AU is a Olat AU, then Global entry yes, airline credit no.
