It is a Great deal. You have time to cancel and get the AF refunded (i think 90 days) after the af posts. So  you gotta do the spend and get the points posted in that time frame.
60 days

Have there been any issues reported with cancellation of AU cards soon after the credit posts? eg FR, clawbacks
No issue.

Hi all,

I just received an offer in the mail for my wife, offering up to 150k points for Platinum Business card.  I assume this a good offer I should jump on? Excuse my naiveté.

Also, is there any way to collect all those points but avoid the $450 fee?

Thanks in advance!
Does it say you can only get the bonus if you haven't had the card in twelve months? Do you have to spend $15,000 or $20,000 to get the points? (And do you have another account to save the points after you cancel the card?)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Dan's signup link in the Wiki doesn't seem to work (unless opened in incognito)

Links only work for the 40k bonus, right?

Correct
That would make it not nice to say there's a publicly available 75k offer, right?

Incognito, after 15k spend.

Does it say you can only get the bonus if you haven't had the card in twelve months? Do you have to spend $15,000 or $20,000 to get the points? (And do you have another account to save the points after you cancel the card?)

$5,000 for the first 100,000 points
$10,000 for an additional 50,000 points

I can't find anything on there that restricts people who have had the card in the last 12 months. Can you direct me to where I should look?

I have other Amex cards but not Platinum (Blue Cash and Preferred); does that mean if I cancel the card I'll lose the points?

If it's 150k after 15k, there's probably no 12 month provision. Sell the offer on the offers for sale thread, and buy an offer that does have the provision for cheaper.

That's an interesting suggestion; will check out the prices of various codes and see if that's worth it.

Question: Trying to read up on MS in order to hit the minimums for this offer in time to cancel the card, and most of the information seems to be for people who want to MS in order to max out various bonus categories.

If I just want to hit the minimum spend for this card, is there a simple way to do it? Can I just buy up a bunch of GCs, load them to Serve, and then cash out from Serve?

Does this mean unlimited free AU's? That's what the T&C language sounds like; does anyone have experience? How long do you have to cancel an AU card and avoid additional fee?

If you just have blue cash and blue cash preferred, your will lose the points when you cancel. Get an everyday along with the platinum.
