How long does it take for AF to post for an AU?
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

do you know for sure because the amex rep just told me that by card conversion(downgrading) the refund on platinum is prorated besides the $195 AF for the gold.
even though another rep told me on another account that i would get the full refund minus the AF for the gold. thats why I'm mixed up.
The Amex rep is right. I just downgraded at the end of two months and I got a credit of $417.50 and a charge of $178.75.

How bad is it to have eight charges in a row receive credits, without any charges to break it up? (Pggm-two charges, and six global entries.)

For a few cycles

If I get a hard limit on a charge card can that limit be transferred to a credit card?

A rep told my friend that you can't
Because you can't transfer A limit from a charge card (pay in full every month) to a credit card

IME the refund is prorated, but so is the AF charged for the new card.

If it's the same MR account then you won't lose it.

So when people on these forums speak of "parking" your points from the Platinum on another card, there's nothing actually proactive you need to do? It just happens automatically?

As long as you have another card that earns MR you are ok.

Thanks!

One more question: From what I can find, there are only 1X points with the Platinum, and no categories of spending that earn 2X, 3X, etc. like on many other cards.   Is this right or did I miss something?
