Do I have to enroll my card for the Global Entry credit? Or does it credit automatically after the charge posts?

When you purchase GE, it will be credited to your account.
Thank you.
Had some clueless rep tell me yesterday that I must enroll the card first.

How long does it generally take to receive the credit?

I'm looking for some advice re my family's (business) platinum cards going forward:
2 of us have cards currently. We already got the airline fee refund benefit for 2016, so the question is if we should keep them for any other benefits, i.e. lounges, or it's better to cancel/downgrade them in order to enable us to reapply next Jan. Additionally, a 3rd family member had the card, and canceled it last March/April, so presumably he could reapply in 2-3 months, and then we could all get the benefits as AUs. So it would seem to me that we should cancel one now, and the second one in March/April, after we get the other one started. Am I missing anything?
Thanks!

I'm assuming you're talking about personal cards, on which the bonus is once in a lifetime.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

Nope. All business. If it was personal, my entire post wouldn't make any sense.

Yup. I see now that you wrote that in your post. If you've already gotten the bonuses, there's no reason to pay the platinum AF. You can get the benefits for free.

Not sure if it was mentionned, but you can now request Starwood Gold online at https://www.americanexpress.com/us/credit-cards/benefits/detail/starwood-preferred-guest-gold/platinum
Doesn't work for additional cardholders.

If it's close to the beginning it won't count the new month.

Here's what it says when I try to access my MR account (weird thing is that my other membership reward account lets me see the info just fine):

WE'RE SORRY We apologize for the inconvenience, the system is currently unavailable. Please try your request again by refreshing the page.

If you require further assistance please call Membership Rewards® Customer Service at 1-800-AXP-EARN (297-3276). CODE: LA01-101

Any reason for concern?

Sounds fairly standard to me.

Normally I wouldn't bat an eyelash. However my MR earning accounts display all the info, yet the system is down for DW accounts. (Which just had 2 plat cards cancelled).
