Unable to transfer points.
Able to pay bill with points.
Unable to transfer points.
All of these transfers were (attempted) using a login from an EDP. (Same MR account as a new Amex plat).

I have spent, but  no points have been generated yet from the Plat. I have not yet met the spend. (UPS method not working anymore for me.)

within a couple days on existing MR accounts and can take 2 months for new accounts.

My wife got the 100k offer and it is her first MR card. She just hit $3k spend, though the charges are mostly pending still. We need those points ASAP. When I got my first MR card last year, I was successful in chatting with AMEX online to expedite this, but given recent shutdowns, I don't know if we want that.

Also, I vaguely remember needing to create a new MR account myself when I got my Plat last year. Am I thinking of something else?

Have any points posted at all from the account ? If yes than the rest will post in a few days . If not , normally it won't post till next billing cycle. however if you see the points pending you'll be able to ask them the expedite it. Doesn't always work necessarily so ymmv . Don't worry about shutdowns if you have nothing to be shutdown about.

MR question: if I have multple CC same account that have MR, if I cancel one of the cards can the MR from that card be rolled in to the other cards or do you lose your MR with canceling a card?

You won't lose the points as long as you have at least 1 card connected to your MR acct
