Is there a way to get shipping status on a new card? Preferably w/o human contact

I have gotten an email b4 with a tracking number stating my new cards have shipped but other wise dont think so.

Anyone here signed up for the 250k plat bonus sign up? I just saw that the 5k per 20kmiles only work for purchases of 5k.

what exactly does that mean? I do understand that smaller purchases won't be counted together as 5k spend, but if I do all 50 in one shot does that work?

No. Different card , different welcome bonus . A product change will not give you the higher bonus

Just yesterday the sent me a bunch of emails about the status of the shipment, completely unsolicitated, it just happened automatically.

When does the 3 months spend time frame toll from?

The date marked as "approved" on the AMEX app status page, or when you receive the card?

I think this was discussed, but I didn't see a clear answer: Is there any reason not to do P--M before meeting the minimum spend? Thanks.

IINM its from when you applied/got approved. If it took a long time to arrive call them to extend it.

My wife got the recent 100K Plat and met spend requirement very quickly. Statement closed on 6/8, balance is now 0 (she paid the AF as well). She's done online chat 3x and just called the MR Dept to get the points posted so we can transfer to Etihad before the 6/15 bonus ends. I was able to do this when I got the card last year, but all reps are saying she has to wait until the 7/8 statement. This is her first MR card, just like it was my first MR card. I've read reports of people in this situation get them points expedited. Just HUCA?

Ask them to expedite the base points for the spend and the rest will follow....just a heads up my mr account is frozen pending review bec I used that 100k offer so you may not be able to transfer for a while

Ouch. Applied 3/10, but never got around to activating it. It was originally canceled as a duplicate and it took a week or two to get it reinstated.

That would be exactly 3 months. Ask them to give you the extra 2 weeks it took to get it.
