Delta doesn't work the same anymore, they started listing it differently. MPX works, you don't get the credit for free anymore but you can get an Amazon GC for free, instructions were several pages ago

You never got MPX credit for "free". It was always via purchasing gift cards and being reimbursed as a travel incidental.

Many would differ on some of your statements in this post.
