How is the refund of the Plat annual fee and/or credit balance issued - check, statement credit? Do I need to do anything to get it or just sit back and wait?

Does the cancellation of the Plat immediately cancel the Priority Pass?

didn't receive points for spend after statement closed yet, dosen't even show pending, spoke to amex, they said takes 30 days to post. is that true? because IIRC it used to not be like that?

It officially takes 6-8 weeks.

Never had that- I did a 3bm for my wife (plat personal, merceds plat and gold) and in under 3 weeks of getting the cards I had all 100k in my acct ready to use.

same here. All my recent AMEX cards had the bonus points very quickly, often before the close of the statement once I reached the spend.

I dunno. A few months ago when churning the points posted a few days after the spend, but recently its taken about 6 weeks (and a few calls/SM's). No clue why. Also according to a rep I spoke to, bonus points do not go into pending (only spend points). Dunno how accurate he was though b/c I couldv'e sworn I once had bonus points pending

I just opened 2 cards Plat and Gold, and I got the bonus points pending a few days after I met the spending requirements

I did a 2bm on 6/25 for the regular  plat and mb plat.

When I check the status online it says "check back in 24 hours".

Its been two days already and it still says that. Does anybody know if that's a good sign or a bad sign?

Update: They said that there isn't enough info on the applicants CR so they IRS form 4506.

The real problem is that the applicant hasn't files taxes since 2008.  :-\

Anybody know if 08's tax return is going to be good enough?  Any way I can convince them to take bank statements instead?
