So Grandpa wants to arrive like 3.5 hours before flight out of JFK (flying Elal).

I have two cancelled Amex plats (one is MB) and a (I am assuming) inactive Priority Pass.

Edit: I also have silver status with Delta and my grandfather has Platinum Delta Amex. I think they have a lounge in terminal 4 of JFK. Would that work?

Any hope to getting into any lounges in JFK or Ben Gurion?

p.s. I shoulda had the foresight to make sure to have an active Platinum for the trip.

is there any list of lounges AMEX plat has access too? is there any lounges in Melbourne or Singapore it works in?
Also traveling with wife and daughter (1 year old) will they have free access as well?

Not really cause a centurion card will give you status with a airline that will give you free checked baggage although the card itself won't do that

+1. i tried using an active plat in tlv and they told me i need priority pass, or that the card be issued in israel

+1 once the plat is cancelled the priority pass wont work

I tried using the priority pass (of a cancelled plat)
In TLV they made a photo copy of it and let us in , in Rome they actually swiped it and refused us

seems like more & more locations are swiping it now.
3 months ago they swiped my pp from a cancelled plat in panama city at the american lounge they let me in!!

Question:

In this link for the MB Plat https://www304.americanexpress.com/personal-card-application/mercedes-benz-platinum-card/20005-10-0 , it says that applicants who have this product in the last 12 months will not be eligible for the 50K welcome bonus. Is the MB plat considered a different product than the regular plat. I had and canceled the reg. plat within the past twelve months. Anyone know if I will still get the MB plat bonus?
