I just signed up for the platinum before the AF goes up, and I added the card to my Uber account. The credit shows up but it’s saying it expires July 31. Does it make sense their giving me the July credit and not the June one even though it’s still a few hours till July?

Can I double dip with the new platinum hotel perk?
200 for the hotel and an additional $200 for booking via amextravel.com (I have that till the end of 2021)

How soon are we going to see a further MR deval, and how is it going to take place? Remove the Biz Plat points rebate? Schwab cash out option is already being lowered.

It's just strange because one would think that they are competing with the CSR and would try to make sure their points remain valuable instead of removing ways to maximize their value.

Any issues with buying amazon gift cards from amazon.com direct in order to reach SUB amount on my Amex? I know other retailers like staples and OfficeMax share L3 data so it’s not advisable to do, but not about amazon/jewel-osco.

Only issues are with cash equivalent gc, not store gc iirc.

Is there any way to split a charge when booking on amex FHR ?
I am trying to stack my 2 plat 200$ credits to get 400 off 1 night stay

Can I apply for and get a SUB on 2 cards, one for each business (1 a sole prop and 1 with EIN), or does that violate the 1 per lifetime rule?

For the Plat Business card, do we need to enroll for the Dell $100 every time, or only once during the life of the card? And just to be clear, the periods are divided Jan-June and July-Dec? Thanks!

Asking for a friend

He applied for the 100k amex platinum in 2016 using the link that was not supposed to be public. He unfortunately returned a $10 purchase at target and I think that triggered the system to clawback the bonus. He tried to fight but amex ended up pointing his $500 purchases at walmart as gift card purchases and never gave the 100k back. Can he apply for a platinum now? Will he qualify for the 125k plus 15x (small business spend) bonus?

i never got my credit automatically so I call Amex and they manually issued a credit. Anyone else have issues automatically getting the credit?
