100/10k

There was a 150 offer a few months back but I don't see it now.

With the $450 annual fee? Isn't that offer worse than the Gold 75/5K with AF waived?

Not if youve had the gold recently and want to get a bonus

If you ask that question it is quite obvious you are not familiar with the benefits of this card or the fact that you can get the fee refunded by canceling within 60 days.

Considering all the questions about that, it's a good data point. Although the more appropriate thread would be either the amex recon or 3 BM thread probably, but either way, is good to see is still alive.
What did your hx look like? Ie, amex inquiries, total inquiries, number of cards?

my wife had a amex plat a few years ago and got 100k+ points. she added me to her account which triggered an FR, they closed her account (involuntarily) and she lost all her points. is there any way to get these back? i now have my own plat card if that helps things (she doesnt) TIA

I'm not exactly sure what the issue was. But she can call and  explain that she didn't respond to FR due to ...... Busy at work, family situation, etc. and if they could please reinstate her points. They probably won't do it without reopening the card which you will have to pay AF.
They also may ask why it took so long,

RE: Global Entry

Last year, I took advantage of the Global Entry reimbursement.
If I wanted to use my card for a child of mine, who does not have a platinum card, would I get reimbursed in this new calendar year for my child (age 20).

I believe it's one per card lifetime not per year
