called customer service to find out if i have an offer for my business accounts if i upgrade. have 2 green business accounts. both had the following offers: upgrade to platinum, get 50k when 10k spent in 5 months or gold: get 30k when 5k spent in 3 months. on one card i upgraded to platinum and on the other i was told that although it's available to upgrade to platinum as well, i won't get the 2nd platinum offer cause the system will cancel it due to duplicate. so i placed that rep on hold and called RC team directly (stands for RELATIONSHIP CARE - escalations dept) to confirm. manager agreed that it will cancel itself and i should do gold offer instead if i want the bonus points on the second account. and so i did.

go ahead and call. per manager, offers like these start as early as 3 MONTHS old of the account opening.
btw, both of my accounts are over 12 months old and were downgraded from platinum to green. now i'm just jumping up to platinum again and then soon back down to green

Amex took away my friends points after he spent the 10k on it. They didn't shut him down nor ask him for any tax returns etc. Just took then away without telling him. When he called cs they said he has to deal with corporate and there's nothing they can do. Any ideas on what he should do ?

gc. nothing refunded. He did do a delta pggm in middle which they mentioned but he did 10k besides for all that

David Smith had a theory that doing pggm before bonus hits was a trigger for these clawbacks.

Presumably nothing but if you have nothing to hide and can pass an FR then call a supervisor and fight for it.

I called today they told that i can't get the bonus because i have a biz gold reward in the past 12 months

Is that normal even it's not the same card?
What can i do to get the 150k?

They own the points, but they cannot bait and switch. I have seen several people get points reinstated after a CFPB complaint.
